#03 ten stylish influencers you should follow
and why you should make an account to follow hundreds more
welcome, new subscribers! appreciate you all <3
the era of caring about IG ratios is dead. make a new account and have fun with following hundreds of accounts and learning through the process.
if you create one of these “burner accounts”, i suggest that you be extremely picky about who you follow, so when it comes time to doom scroll before bed, you can easily find fabulous outfit inspiration or learn something new without scrolling past fluff.
here are my top 10 favorite accounts i’ve been loving recently that can kick start the curated feed of your burner account.
lindsay vrckovnik. honestly, lindsay is the reason i started knitting back in september. i’m terrified of wearing color, but she gives me hope that one day i might be able to pull it off.
atiya walcott. ive been a fan of hers since the beginning. she is the definition of styling, not wearing.
- . of course, if you’re reading this on substack, you must already know laura. laura reilly is what i hope my outfits will look like before i put them on.
reese blutstein. a gorgeous fashion queen who just had the most chic pregnancy fits i have ever seen.
- . she really satisfies my shoe obsession and has my dream job of ~fashion strategy consultant~.
rabab something. how cool is it to keep up with an ny-based florist/ceramicist?
the weird real. an account posting strange listings from The Real Real! i hope to one day be confident enough to invest in one of these very strange items.
ana luisa corrigan. ceramic lighting, design, and fashion queen. i aspire to have her eye.
simplicite_ici. founder of very cool kids brand Shaebū - her fashion and interior design skills are unmatched.
maggie zhou. she puts it best, “wears slow fashion, talks very fast.”
i hope you feel inspired to go follow a million (carefully curated) people and brands.
fin, talk soon
